I downloaded admin tools. I am using Windows 7. I get an error message as screenshot shows when I go to "Turn Windows Features On or Off".

My system information also attached.

If anyone noticed of a wrong step I have taken please tell me.

Around a month ago I have installed OCS 2007 R2 on my server named OCS (Windows 2008 R2 server) without any trouble. Now, when I try to install the Archiving server on it, it asks me to prepare my Schema and the installation is failing. I am getting the error given below.

"Not available: Failure occurred attempting to check the schema state. Please ensure Active Directory is reachable."

I am unable to login to my login page. Following error occur in the OC4J logs.

Error: javax.naming.PartialResultException [Root exception is javax.naming.CommunicationException: [server]:[port] [Root exception is java.net.UnknownHostException: [server]]]

I am waiting for solution for this.

I was trying to install Quest Recovery Manager Version 7 on my laptop having windows 7 (64-bit) installed. I received an error “An error occurred while installing system components for Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory (x64). Setup cannot continue until all system components have been successfully installed."

I need to import pictures in active directory. I am aware of the steps to do this and I have religiously followed the steps given and the options presented. I have also used gui methods to shrink the size of the image I am to upload. The problem is that when I upload the picture, the way it is presented in the active directory is different from the original picture. It is way smaller and cropped as compared to the original. Am I missing something with active directory import pictures rule?

While installing DNS I received an error message. The screenshot of the error message is as under. It suggests configuring DNS manually. How can I get a remedy of this issue? Have you any idea? Please help.

I am trying to install 2 DC’s on a same domain for education reason. For the very first DC, everything went quite smoothly but when I tried to get done with the second DC, it results me with the following error message.
