I have error on downloading Synaptic. I just updated my system this morning and updated 10 files. After that, the error appears instantly.
APT system reports:

When I run Synaptic, I received an error. Even if I try to add or remove it again, the same error incurs. There is no issue with the permission and I already tried what is suggested in the other site. I also run the command "sudo chown USERNAME .xauthority to no avail. I can still launch synaptic via the terminal. What seems to be the issue here? Any help?
Failed to run /urs/sbin/synaptic as user root.
Unable to copy the user's Xauthorization file.

My problem is, I can't make the Stream run. An error is showing and I'm not sure how to fix it. Nor do I understand why it occurs. I am looking for someone who can help mw with resolving this. The error I got is:

I am running Linux Mint 12 with MATE. I just added WINE PPS following the instructions and downloaded the Wine package from the winehq download page. However, when I try to refresh in synaptic, an error occurred. And then another warning pops up on Wine 1.3 installation stating that the package cannot be trusted. I want to know, can I just get rid of the warning and continue with the installation? Any ideas? Thanks.
