New Skype remote vulnerability has been revealed by the Vulnerability-Lab Team of Benjamin Kunz Mejri, Alexander Fuchs and an external investigator Ucha Gobejishvili
This bug will be specially processed when certified symbol settings in chats and it's targeted to the Skype via chat boxes. The vulnerability allows hackers to crash the communication in the message box which is connected to multiple chat members. These will also have a persistent weak vector which allows a remote hacker to contrivance the symbol strings in a user add a request message tab.

I have an HP notebook, I regularly use Skype calling. But from the last few days it stopped working without any reason. I have not noticed with that webcam has stopped working and I updated the Skype, but now microphone also stopped working. If I make an echo call it works. If I make a call to other people later it won’t work. If I try to do video call a picture of youcam displays and asks to start my webcam shown below.

While upgrading Skype to the latest version, its displaying the message says: “Installing Skype failed; code 1603. A fatal error occurred during installation”. I have uninstalled the application but the same message I am getting.
I think it’s seemed to be a common problem while upgrading. Can anyone help?

I am using Skype application regularly there was no problem until I get this error Application Error - exception unknown software exception. If I click on OK Skype will close. I have reinstalled the application but still same problem. Can someone help?
