Whenever I try and watch videos on my ASUS Memo Pad, the volume is really low and scratchy. I tried using the Audiowizard app that came with it, but it isn´t doing anything. Most worryingly, when I use an AUX cable to plug it into my car stereo or my computer speakers, the volume gets even lower and the scratching increases. I tried playing the same audio files with the same speakers and it worked fine. What is wrong with the MeMO Pad?
When I built my first computer, I made the mistake of skimping on the fan a bit, with the result that I am stuck with something that is very loud and doesn’t even do its job properly. I would like to replace it with something better. I have looked around and the ARCTIC Accelero Twin Turbo II seems like a good option. Is there anything I should be aware of? Are there any compatibility problems? Is it worth the expense in a fairly old computer?
I am worried for my Kobo Arc 10HB. It has developed this weird habit of freezing when I pull down the notification bar. It remains frozen for a while, and then it crashed and shuts down. When I turn it on again, it seems to attempt to open the notification bar, but it ends up freezing again. What could be causing this?
My Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet is 9 months old, and the Power Keyboard is months old. I have been using the keyboard sporadically, that is, maybe once or twice a week. Recently I cannot seem to be able to use them together. When I plug the keyboard to the table, everything stops responding. The keyboard does not work, the tablet does not work and the screen goes black. What is happening?
Hello, I am thinking of connecting a second monitor to my desktop computer. I have one done so at work, and I use it as an extended desktop and find it great for multitasking. However, my home computer only has one VGA output. Is there a way to connect a second monitor to a computer with only one VGA output?
I am having some problems connecting my Windows Surface 2 tablet with other devices using Bluetooth. Now, the Surface 2 has no issues when establishing a connection, but it cannot seem to maintain it. After it loses the connection, I get a btvstack error message. What could be the problem? How can I attempt to solve it?
I have been using my R.A.T 7 Mouse for a couple of months, but recently it has started behaving weirdly. Sometimes when I use it, the cursor randomly stops. All the clicks and the buttons function as they should, but the cursor seems stuck. I tried to change the power settings in the control panel, and it worked for maybe a week, and now I am back to square one. What could be the problem?
I have heard many wonderful things about the Raspberry Pi, and I was wondering if it could be used in an office setting. We have a very old (very, very old) computer that we use only to write up invoices with Excel and a very short letter with Word. Could we replace it with a Raspberry Pi? Will it be able to perform these tasks consistently?
Hello. Today I noticed that my fan speed was working at a much slower speed than normal. At first I could not hear it as loudly as usual, and then I checked the temperature readings, and the fan was actually running at half speed, and my CPU temperature was rising. I tried to change the fan speed in the BIOS, but it looked like I wasn’t allowed. I don’t understand why this is so, when I usually take the same steps and BIOS allows me to change with no hitch. Could there be a deeper problem than a faulty fan?
My Acer Iconia A1 tablet has gone mute. All of the sudden, with no warnings or weird scratching sounds, the volume was no more. I tried everything I could think of in the settings, but nothing helped. The headphones still work, and when I connected it to my car radio it plays through the AUX cable with no issue. What I would like to know is 1) if there is a way to know if this is a software or hardware problem and 2) if the speakers can be replaced in case it’s their fault.
