How to resolve Error 1604 using iTunes? Is this a hardware or software issue from Apple? I received the said error message upon updating my iPod Touch an hour ago and suddenly the said error message appears on my computer screen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you please inform me as to whether, when updating id3 information in iTunes, the info will also be updated on the iPhone? Usually, I play my tracks in the iPhone 4S by myself. One noticeable thing was that some of the labels were incorrect. To fix this, I altered the info on the get info list in iTunes. I did it with the iPhone. Though the updated ones are not shown on my iPhone, I get a notification from iTunes that they are correct. It is a completely new problem. It would be great to get your help.

Hello all,
I’m a bit confused about a simple thing. I am pretty sure most of you know about it. It may be stupid to ask; still, your help can hopefully relive my confusion. For music, I have a Mac, iPad, and iPhones containing my desired tracks. That said, what is the actual purpose of a Match?
I know that it amplifies the bit rates, but is there anything else to it, apart from that? Most of us want to download or take music from iCloud. Why it is preferred to do so, as opposed to moving those in the Mac or iPhone? Hope to get your help.

Hi,
I’d like to discuss a problem regarding an iTunes match bug. I’m not sure if anybody else has observed it. I spotted this while checking over one of my albums in the collection and uploading those to iTunes match. Every time I click the check box of anthology, I check that it’s working. Then I leave iTunes. But, when I reopen the program, I find that the box remains unchecked. It was happening with each track I tried to upload. I understand that it’s kind of peculiar. Has this happened to anybody here? I appreciate any knowledge of a solution.

Hi,
I’m an avid ITunes user. My problem is that ITunes is not opening on my system. When I try to open the application I get an error which I’ve pasted at the end.
As indicated by the error I uninstalled the application and then installed it again on my system but got the same error when I opened it. ITunes support team could not solve the problem either. They think the fault does not lie in the software rather it’s an OS problem. Please help me as I can’t live without ITunes!!

Suddenly iTunes stops its installation in the middle and then iTunes shows this error message:

Error getting file security:C:\program File\Common File\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\YSFileShim.dll GetLastError:5

I cannot connect to the iTunes Store because of the error I get "ITunes store connectivity problem, error code: we could not complete your iTunes request. An unknown error occurred (0x800b0101)". I am trying to go to iTunes to activate the iPhone 4 that I have. Thank you.

I’ve encountered an error message after installing iTunes 10.5 on my netbook stating that “Service Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have specific privileges to start system services”.
I though there might something wrong in the installation process so I uninstalled iTunes and all Apple programs and restarted the netbook. After which I installed it again but I still get the same error. I have no idea why this is happening. Can someone help me with this?
