Greetings guys,

I Like Windows operating systems and am on Vista 64 bit. I was told by a friend to try the Sandra Lite so that I could check the stability of my system. I downloaded the 64 bit version and installed successfully but the launch cannot happen. If I try to start it always an error shows up. I need some help on this issue.

Error message:

The server has reported the following error:

Could not initialize database! Check database file, database server, or MDAC.

When downloading Sandra Lite for 64-bit Microsoft Windows, you don’t literally download the 64-bit version of the installer. There is only one installer for Sandra Lite and this already supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows. So your problem is really not related to incompatibility issue because your operating system is supported.

If you are using an older version and not the latest version, Sandra Lite 2013 Service Pack 5, then you can try upgrading to this version since it is a free application. Visit Sandra Lite 2013 SP5 [19.58] to download the latest version. This version supports Windows 2000, 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

You may also try running the program as administrator like what anybody else does. The word SANDRA really stands for System ANalyser, Diagnostic, and Reporting Assistant. So basically, it is a diagnostic and information utility program. You can use it to get the information about your processor, video card, AGP, chipset, ports, printers, memory, sound card, and a lot more.

I also have this but the very old one.
